Tavistock Roker Hotel

The Roker Hotel is a landmark Victorian building, designed by renowned architect John Dobson in 1842. It retains many period features but has recently been refurbished to a 3-star standard.

Located close to the centre of Sunderland, the hotel has 57 bedrooms, along with two restaurants and a late bar, all of which are open to both residents and non-residents. The Roker is the perfect venue for a range of meetings and events, including wedding receptions and buffets.

The Roker has 57 bedrooms, all with tea and coffee making facilities, private telephones, en-suite bathrooms, trouser presses and satellite television. Many offer breathtaking views across the North Sea and Roker Pier. Rooms range from a standard single up to an executive sea view suite and all bookings include full English breakfast.

The Roker offers superb facilities for meetings, conferences and other events such as weddings. Our experienced team can cater for everything from a small meeting to a banquet for 350 people. There is also a private bar for all dinner parties. The Roker is located near the centre of Sunderland and major transport links, making it a great venue for both business and leisure travellers.
